Small Milestones //:

Today I have hit a small milestone in my creative career.  I received my first children's book written and illustrated by yours truly! The book was inspired by a class that I am currently enrolled in. We were all given the task of writing and illustrating a 14 page children's book and I did just that. Looking at my hardbound copy this afternoon, I see it for what it really is, which is a first draft and publication of a book that still needs some work. That being said, I am still incredibly excited about seeing my work on my bookshelf next to authors and artists that inspire me.
